Mail Handling & USPS Compliance Notice
Important Information Regarding Mail Services
Havenport Capital Inc. provides professional business infrastructure, workspace solutions, and business address services.
Mail receiving, mail forwarding, mail scanning, and related mail management services are administered separately through independent service providers, including Strait Up Services LLC, and are subject to separate enrollment, verification procedures, and service terms.
USPS Form 1583 Requirement
Clients requesting mail receiving, mail forwarding, mail scanning, package handling, or related mail services acknowledge that completion of USPS Form 1583 and identity verification procedures may be required before mail services can be activated.
Mail services cannot begin until all required documentation has been properly completed, submitted, and approved by the applicable mail service provider.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- providing accurate and complete information;
- maintaining valid identification documents;
- complying with USPS requirements;
- updating forwarding instructions when necessary;
- maintaining current contact information;
- responding to requests for additional verification or compliance documentation.
Failure to provide or maintain required documentation may result in:
- suspension of mail services;
- refusal of incoming mail;
- return of mail to sender;
- termination of mail-related services.
Mail Service Availability
Mail handling services are not automatically included with every Havenport Capital service package unless expressly stated in the applicable service agreement.
Additional enrollment, documentation, service fees, and compliance procedures may apply.
Mail Forwarding & Scanning
Mail forwarding, scanning, package handling, and administrative processing are performed on a commercially reasonable basis and may be subject to:
- processing schedules;
- forwarding fees;
- postage charges;
- storage limitations;
- verification requirements;
- operational policies of the mail service provider.
Government & Legal Correspondence
Clients remain solely responsible for monitoring and responding to:
- IRS correspondence;
- state notices;
- legal documents;
- regulatory communications;
- licensing notices;
- court documents;
- and other official communications.
Neither Havenport Capital Inc. nor its service providers guarantee:
- delivery times;
- forwarding times;
- postal carrier performance;
- government processing times;
- or uninterrupted postal services.
Prohibited Mail & Shipments
Mail service providers reserve the right to refuse or reject:
- hazardous materials;
- unlawful shipments;
- prohibited items;
- improperly addressed mail;
- or items restricted by carrier or regulatory requirements.
Compliance & Service Suspension
Mail services may be suspended, restricted, or terminated where:
- required USPS documentation is missing;
- identity verification cannot be completed;
- compliance concerns arise;
- payments become delinquent;
- or misuse of services is identified.
